Are you planning to travel soon? You might like to save money during Travel, but finding Travel discounts might be time consuming. Here are some tips to find cheap air tickets or cheap flights or airfare, as well as cheap hotels / motels or vacation packages.

This cheap travel tip that can help you save money during traveling, is specific tip on where or how to get the best deals on the specific things like hotel discounts, cheap rental car, cheap airline tickets or other traveling discounts. I’ll try to include as much of travel deals information as I can, and point you in the right direction to find more travel discounts.
There is a limitation to this type of approach though. If , for example, you find the best deal on the best hotel in Las Vegas at the height of the season, you will save money, but still have a very expensive vacation. Trying to always get exactly what you want, or what you think you want, will generally be an expensive proposition, in travel and during peak season vacation.
So try to avoid peak season vacation, if you can search for best deals to find cheap airline tickets or cheap hotel rooms, as these two things are major part of your traveling expense.
Cheap International Travel or domestic travel, always start to find travel deals with airfare, find cheap hotel rates or cheap motels and include food cost too, some hotel accommodation may be little expensive but they may provide food. If hotel provide pickup service then you can save in car rentals too.

You can use one of the internet travel search engines to do some initial research. I normally use either http://www.travelocity.com or http://www.orbitz.com. You can specify dates, a range of dates (+/- 3 days), or just specify you have no dates and want the best deals.
After that, it may be worth a try at checking the very airlines that are identified with the deals. Sometimes, the best deals are not posted in general websites and you can only get access to them on the specific Airline website either as a special or webfare.

Try online on FareChase, they search dozens of websitesfor you, so you dont have to!!!
Late October you can find tickets starting from $1106, while going intoNovember take the prices up to $1406…

Yes, you could fly to one of the more touristy cities…as flights to these cities are cheaper…but be sure it is one CLOSE to Zacatecas. Or , you can take a bus from the Mexican border…Mexican buses are safe, luxourious, and cheap. BUT…Greyhound in the U.S. is HORRID…so you would need to fly or get a ride to the border.

If you are flying domestically then a good idea would be to go on sites like orbitz or expedia to check the cheapest carrier and then book it directly on that particular airline's website- that way you are saving the convience fee and when you need to make future changes the airline wont give you a hard time that you purchased the ticket thru a 3rd party!
Now is the important thing- when it comes to international flights (mostly Europe, Asia, South America) then Airline Consolidators have MUCH CHEAPER prices and offer lots of seasonal discounts as well!!! One of them is AMTA (American Travel Abroad)- 773-467-0700 but there are many other ones as well…. Most of the time they won't sell their tickets directly to the passengers but they distribute them among travel agents (who add about $30 mark up to them) but still they come up to be cheaper them on the net. Try to find a good airline conslidator or contact your local travel agent and ask them if they are booking thu consolidators! Good Luck

In general, it's better to contact the airline directly. If you call the airline, make sure you tell them that you want the lowest available fare from xxx to xxx. If you are flexible with your dates and times of travel, a good reservation agent will generally be able to get you a better deal than a travel agent. The exception to this is if the travel agent has purchased a block of bulk tickets.
Also, be aware of ticket restrictions when you purchase. If you do happen to find a super low fare (with the airline or a travel agent), it usually has extremely strict rules attached to it that do not permit any changes at all. This can be really bad if some kind of unexpected event prevents you from making your flight. I worked for an airline and I got many phone calls from people holding perfectly useless tickets because they couldn't make their flight and the restrictions didn't allow any changes. They lost the whole value of the ticket, so…. buyer beware!
