Visiting malaysia Well it’s not complete if you do not visiting this place. This place called “Red Hill”. In Malay, Bukit Merah means “red hill” (the hill is Malay for “hill”, while red means “red”). Bukit Merah Laketown Resort is Malaysia’s premier resort north of the lake, which offers a variety of attractions and facilities, water park, eco-shelter forest and the island. Bukit Merah Lake Town was developed in 1995. To get to the Bukit Merah Lake Town Recreational Park you can take the North-South Highway and use the Bukit Merah Lake Town exit. The journey to the park is approximately 35 minutes from the Penang Bridge and an hour from the City of Ipoh. If the Federal Trunk Road is used, it takes approximately 75 minutes from the Penang Bridge and 45 minutes from Taiping.
Actually this is resort placest that you should consider to visit here because there are a lot of different arena that offer fun that you can visited, such as:
a) Water Park
b) The Orang Utan Island
c) Eco Park
And to visit this place there also some scedules.
a) Water park
In this area you can see a lot of water park that you could choose to spend your vacation in this place. Such as a giant wave pool, pool games, adults and children, slow river rides, children’s water playground, giant bubbles, a giant three-channel water rides, three twin-tube raft rides and speed slides and also the water park. Water park area is suitable for children because they love to play water.
b) The Orang Utan Island
Besides the beautiful water park here is also given lai feel where you can see the Orang Utan. A small tropical island in the middle of the 7000 Acre freshwater lake in which a number of Orang Utan kept in their natural habitat. Ships depart every half hour, and it’s a 10-minute ride across the lake to the island. Orang Utan Island is the right – this clever monkeys have literally running in place
There are 19 Orang Utan on the island at this time, with four of which are island-born.
The island is 14ha (35 acres) across wide but only 2ha (5 acres) of it is used as a Rehabilitation and preservation facility. This program AIMS to develop and promote the Orang Utan conservation, propagation, research education and eco-tourism by making the island into a Sanctuary for breeding these animals.
c) Eco Park
Eco Park is located on a quiet beach hening Bukit Merah Lake, in a beautiful natural environment. It is the ideal eco-tourism holiday destination, where you can experience nature, with eco-friendly animals. Among the unique attractions at the Bukit Merah Laketown Eco-Park is the educational walk-in enclosure. There are more than 60 species of local and exotic birds, different species of reptiles and Colorful butterflies to be photographed and admired. Enjoy the unspoiled greenery of the Rainforest 400 meters from the jungle raised Boardwalk, or stroll along the nature trail. See Bawean deers and other animal communities and listen to the exotic sounds of nature.

Looks like a lot of fun, I need to visit this place if I ever take a vacation to Malaysia. Eco resort parks like these are also a good way for people to learn more about eco travel and saving the environment!
