If you travel often or book family holidays, you’ll have been offered travel insurance. Maybe you didn’t see the need at the time to pay for the extra insurance, and maybe you made a good call. You may not be able to see into the future. But you can plan for it.

? Altered plans – If your plans were to change due to an illness, natural disaster or some other calamity, you would lose the cost of your trip. Travel insurance will reimburse you the cost of your unused trip if you are unable to continue. Insurance will also pay for any additional expenses involved with change of plans.
Cheap travel insurance offers so much coverage at such a low price, it is almost impossible to pass up. For a fraction of the cost of your holiday, you could be completely covered. Coverage can also include everyone going on your trip if you purchase a holiday package.
There simply is no reason to travel without insurance. The cost of travelling without insurance is much higher than the cost of cheap travel insurance. In fact, it could cost more to treat a sprained ankle or minor cut abroad than it does to purchase cheap travel insurance. So, why not travel prepared for anything that may come your way while on holiday?

The answer is yes and I suggests you do! I actually came across a Rugby World Cup promotion from Travel Insurance Web – they already claim to be the cheapest UK travel insurance provider and now are offering 20% off all policies bought before the end of the tournament to celebrate England's success in getting through to the semi-finals.
I just got a quote based on 2 days to France – £3.80!
You don't have to be travelling to the RWC to take advantage of the offer either!

i do not think the words cheap and travel insurance go together.i did my back in bali a few years ago and he 14 days in hospital and was flown back to brisbane with a doctor and nurse.aussie nurse that was in charge told me if i did not have insurance it would have cost me $30000au.insurance company i had was covermore through flight centre.i have had a look at the net for you a lot are quoting thailand 14 days starting from $80,covermore is $120 for the same i would pay extra and go with covermore.also if you are out of australia i doubt if you will get insurance you should have got it before you left if you did and have decided to extend you holiday they will not cover you.if you are going to be in thailand for sometime you can get medical insurance from a company call BUPA hope this helps a bit
