Enjoying Mountain Sensation In Shimla – Himalaya

Shimla is a small city located at the altitude of more than 2000 meters. Before visiting this place, first make sure that your body is ready with cold air temperature, very cold even in the winter. Shimla City is a very comfortable place to walk or on foot. Particularly in The Ridge area , The Mall, and Scandal point. Three is non-vehicle area. This policy makes Shimla free from pollution. The air is very clean and fresh. Moreover, with the walk you will be enjoying a series of mountains that line in this small city.Hm…you can enjoying mountain sensation with fresh air of course.

At The Mall, whatever you want, can be found in this region. Start from the clothing store chain to café. Not only local products, but also import product you can find in this area. If you walk down the stairs from The Mall, then you will arrive in the Middle Bazaar. Although not as beautiful as The Mall, you will find many local products such as handbags and socks with a cheaper price.
Meanwhile, in the Ridge area, you can see a church tower that high. Church of the yellow wall is a second-oldest church in India. In addition, in The Ridge area also has a library, a few cafes and bars, and park benches that can be a place where you just relax enjoy the sun and sunset.
Shimla City really makes fresh our mind because of it’s mountain sensation. Government and citizens still maintain the authenticity of the building is already there since English colonial era. Older buildings are not only in treated conditions , but also continue to work until now.
There are several other interesting places that are not too far from Shimla city, the Viceregal Lodge and Botanical Garden (approximately 5 km from scandal point), Himachal State Museum (3km west scandal Point) and Jakhu Temple in the north of the city (about a 45 minute walk feet from the scandal Point). If you want to visit Jakhu Temple, the most appropriate time is in the morning, because the air is very fresh and the sun is not too extreme warm.
Prepare the physical journey when you go to Jakhu Temple that requires stamina and indomitable spirit of abstinence. Street to the temple is always uphill climb and a hill. Along the way, you can see the activity of primates at up of trees.When arrive in the temple, you can feel the comfortable atmosphere. There are several park benches for you to sit while you relax breathe fresh air from the surrounding forest that encircle the temple. This temple is the highest peak in the north of The Ridge. From this temple, we can see the Shimla City at the bottom and so also with the snow peak of Himalaya.hmmm…beautiful scenery.
