Kakaban Island The Sparkling Lights in Central Lake

For You that like to spend the time on island maybe this is can be your next place to visit. This called Kakaban Island located on East Kalimantan island, Indonesia. Why This places called The Sparkling Lights in Central Lake because this islands are uninhabited with the lake trapped in the middle contains thousands of jellyfish that have lost power sting. Kakaban Island, one of the cluster Islands Derawan nominated as a World Heritage Area. If you have some adventurous spirit diver maybe this is the right place to explore your spirit. Beside that this also offered another unique island Kakaban – both for divers and is not – is an ancient lake nan beautiful island in the middle of a closed tropical forests.
Brackish water lakes that form because of water trapped in the middle of the island since 2 million years ago. This wide area of 774.2 hectares have this diversity and has a population of jellyfish the most in the world, including four unique species of jellyfish that do not sting. To go to this places it took 45 minutes from Derawan Island Kakaban to use the boat. The cost to rent a boat this can be three-fold compared boat fishermen who only need a cost Rp 300,000 for the same distance.This island is surrounded by high cliffs, the west cliffs unfold outside the low wide 50 meter consisting of a coral reef.
As the island has atol brackish lagoon in watery, Kakaban quite rare. Island Kakaban the figure “9″, on the circle next to the north is atol or ring-shaped coral reef. Form in the lagoon called the local Lake Kakaban. * teri coral (Antherinomorus endrachtensis)
* first fish (Zenarchopterus dispar)
Don’t worry to diving here and don’t be afraid because all of jellyfish here doesn’t have a stings because it was adapting to the environment of geographic Kakaban closed. The another beautifull in this places are all of animals-animals that this lake can emit light colors during the dark days. The point, if there is an opportunity to enjoy the beauty of the lake
