Compared to few years back travel has become costlier, plunge in the economy has further brought hardship to every type of traveler. Every traveler be it a business one or a holiday maker, everyone is in the lookout for cheap airfare. The very reason you are going through this article, is that you too are concern of the skyrocketing airfares. If you are indeed looking for ways to find cheap Flight Tickets, you have come to the right place.
>I will take you a step forward to find Cheap airfare.
I am not Einstein or Newton and be assured, I ain’t going to teach you no rocket science. These are only lessons learned through years of travelling and testing my strategy on trial and error basis.
With me; there has been occasions when I have to travel on a very short notice, else I do plan my trip at least month ahead. Flight Tickets booked a month ahead can be lot cheaper than tickets otherwise booked. I also try to book my tickets early in the morning or late night flights. Less people travel in this kind of odd time of the day. The less demand the less the ticket is going to cost.
On holidays I try to take a round trip rather than two one ways. The round trips tend to be lot cheaper than their counter parts. If you are going for a holiday to a small town, it is always better to take a major airline till a big hub and then take a budget airline till the final destination. For example if you are flying to Atlanta to Rome, it is better to take a major airline from Atlanta to Frankfurt or Paris and from their a budget airline. This can reduce you’re your fare up to 30%.
Do not forget to do a little survey before you decide to book your flight tickets, compare prices in online travel portals, like airtkt.com, cheapfareguru.com and you could also directly go to the airlines website and look at the fares.
Fly in lean season :- Air travel is divided in three seasons high, low, and shoulder. Consider the low season for your travel if it is possible, this can save you around 30% or more compared to high season airfares
Talk to your travel agent about your plans, he may be able to offer you some great deal which you don’t see in any of the online portals. Keep your options open, look into all sources and book you
Cheap Flight Tickets strategically. The key word is DO NOT BOOK YOUR TICKETS IN HASTE, WEIGH YOUR OPTIONS AND CHOSE THE CHEAPEST.

Find out where to buy picnic style food so you only have to buy one meal in a restaurant per day.
Eating at restaurants which are frequented by locals is cheaper and less likely to get ripped off.
Always try to say a few words in the language of the country and you'll be much better received.
Travel on public transit when it's not rush hour.
Lots of countries have great "charity shops" where new items are sold for charity prices-like the Salvation Army. Some can make great gifts or ssouvenirs.
most on-line reservations for hotels I've seen are quite pricey. Check out pensiones/hostels instead. Lots are more comfortable than hotels too.
Avoid tourist traps.
Wear your money belt or bag across your shoulder.
Figure out the public transit systems.
Always be careful at night in any strange city, especially if you are a woman. Don't have drinks with strangers in strange cities…eventhough it may seem romantic and fun. (Sorry, but am speaking from experience.)

I will tell you right off the bat that you would really be rushing it to try to do justice to all those places in ten days. With Barcelona as your starting point — you are 1130 Kilometers or 700 miles from Seville. It's a five hour train ride from Barcelona to Madrid.
The best way to really see Spain is by car in my opinion and car rental is about the same price as train fare between major cities — although you really don't need a car in any of the major cities you mentioned — but you can miss a lot of stuff that is in between major destinations.
I think you need at least three days in both Barcelona and Madrid. You can also take the AVE a very fast train that can get you to Cordoba from Madrid in 2 hours and Seville in 2 1/2 hours. The AVE doens't run to Barcelona but does leave from Llieda which is about an hour away from Barcelona.
Maybe you should Consider just doing Barcelona and Madrid and making side trips to Toledo near Madrid and Girona near Barcelona using train or renting car in Barcelona after your visit and driving to Madrid taking a couple of days staying at a place llike Cuenca, Zaragosa or Segobriga for the night and explore the countryside a bit also, the landscape is beautiful and extremely varied and there are castles, Roman Ruins, and smaller villages to explore. Then drop of the car in Madrid..
Just some stuff to think about.

You'll probably find it much much less hassle, more convenient and ultimately more cost effective to buy a ready made round the world ticket.
