Hmmm if we are live in Asia maybe the people feels confused about the meaning, because actually we doesn’t know about this tradisions. Well maybe here are little information about what is thanksgiving and why we must celebrate it ?
Thanksgiving is a holiday in North America to say thank you and feel grateful at the end of the harvest season. Pronunciation pleasure day is official holiday in the United States that fall on the fourth Thursday in November. In Canada, Thanksgiving falls on the second Monday in October. Actually people like accept this say like they celebrate the crismast day or the big holly day that they always remember. This they do to have great pleasure to the God because with The God pleasure their have a great harvest.
People like to celebrate the day because they can together with all the great family because this wouldn’t complete if doesn’t celebrate with all family.
Thanksgiving feasts are usually marked with various events such as race, parade, holiday and celebrate with the family dinner with the family. But before all that they celebrate their first start with the good pray together in the family or go to a place of worship just thankful to God for blessing on the harvest season, so given this is a blessing for the good of all people. After they pray then they celebrate with events that make with the family. As in the state of New York celebrated Thanksgiving with a parade of all those so called people around to be happy and feel involved kemeriahan parade.
Nighttime is usually all family dinner together, a tradition in the country where the United States and Canada to present the turkey as the main food. Turkey is the most common dishes for Thanksgiving dinner. Therefore, Thanksgiving is not officially recognized in the United States as “turkey day” (Turkey Day). Besides turkey, Thanksgiving dinner is often also display a table of duck or goose is the traditional Christmas dish in Europe. Vegetarian dishes often show flesh in imitation of the so-called tofurkey. So many other food presented accompany the turkey, so the Thanksgiving meal is usually eaten at lunch or evening meal so that all can enjoy. Cooking is usually started in early morning or in the previous day. Food presented another example: the mashed cassava, potato puree, with maize, pea or kaserol pea, carrot, bread, and Waldorf salad. As food pesented cover different types of pie, such as pumpkin pie, apple pie, and two United States that is dish: sweet potato pie and Pecan pie. Other presented food on the table depending on the cultural background of the cook and the person who is invited to eat. Relation to the drink that is presented is that Apple Cider often accompany Thanksgiving dinner, presented warm or cold. In addition, wine and cocktail sometimes are before the main course. Bersoda drink wine and juice drinks are provided to children.
Well what a nice day,imagine if all country in the world celebrate this day, well the happines could be everywere. Actually this thanksgiving day is like another big day that always celebrate of us such as mothers day, independent day that we always celebrate, but the makes different are this thanksgiving day is more respected because this the day for say pleasure to our God. Remember celebrate the thanksgiving day with all your family and a lot of people more happiness than you celebrate it self.^_^
