Tips For Planning A Maui Beach Vacation

Have you recently decided that you would like to take a Maui beach vacation? If you have, you will want to start making your travel plans soon. In fact, the sooner, the better.
If this is the first time that you plan to travel to Maui, you may be looking for more information. For your convenience, a few helpful planning tips are outlined below. These tips, when properly implemented, can help to ensure that your trip is a dream come true.
One of the first steps that you will want to take involves choosing your Maui beach vacation destination. Although the island of Maui is small enough that you can travel, you may want to refrain from doing so. After all, you want to spend your vacation on the beach, not all day in your rental car. For that reason, wisely choose your Maui vacation destination.
When choosing your destination, there are a number of important factors that you will want to take into consideration. First, remember that the goal of your Maui beach vacation is to enjoy the beautiful beaches of Maui and all that they have to offer. That is why you should choose a destination that is located along the coast. Lahaina, Hana, and Kahului are just a few of your options.
Next, it is important to determine where you will stay on your Maui vacation. Do you have any preferences? If not, it is still wise to examine all of your options. Although Maui hotels and vacation resorts are two popular options, you can and should also examine Maui vacation rentals. Vacation rentals include a number of different property types, including Maui condos, homes, villas, cottages, and apartment rentals. Before deciding on a rental property, it is important to compare rental fees and features.
As previously stated, you do have the option of staying at a Maui hotel or vacation resort. Should you choose one of these two options, you may want to examine Hawaii vacation packages. A number of trusted online travel websites, like HawaiianBeachRentals.com, allow you to make all of your travel arrangements at once. Not only can you save time by booking your next Maui trip in the form of a vacation package, but you may also be able to save a little bit of money.
If you decide to opt against a vacation package, like if you choose to book a stay at Maui condo or another Maui vacation rental, you will need to make your additional travel arrangements yourself. These arrangements should include your airline reservations and a car rental. To help you save money, you may want to price compare. Doing so allows you to find the best deals and save the most money. Price comparison is easy to do online.
As an important note, if you opt to book a stay at one of the many beautiful Maui vacation rentals, it is a good idea to hold off on making your airline reservations. Since Maui vacation rentals are popular, some may already be booked for your intended dates of travel. Determining vacation rental availability ahead of time gives you the ability to adjust your travel dates, should you wish or need to do so
Once you have your overnight accommodation reservations, airline reservations, and car rental reservations made, you will then want to focus on your Maui activities. Since your Maui vacation has a beach theme, you will want to examine fun beach activities and attractions. This is important to do ahead of time, as some activities may require a small amount of planning on your part. Do you want to learn how to surf? If so, does your first choice surf company require a reservation? If you would like to take a dinner cruise, you may not only need reservations, but cruises do have set schedules.
As you can see, there are a number of easy steps that you can take to help ensure that your next Maui beach vacation is just how you imagined it would be. As a reminder, HawaiianBeachRentals.com is a trusted online website that specializes solely in Hawaii vacations. They offer a large selection of Maui vacation rentals, hotels, vacation resorts, and timesaving vacation packages.

The weather is great. We had some rain yesterday but this is our third December on Maui in a row and it is a fine time (all times are good really) to come.
There are some beautiful beaches here. We were resting on one south of Lahaina just two weeks ago.

Well Maui is a beautiful place to be…I actually have lived on the island of Maui for my whole life and there is lots to do there…
Well first, the best beaches to me are Kapalua Bay (lahaina), then there is wailea beaches like Prince, there are some beautiful beaches by the hotels…My favorite beach though is kapalua Bay so i would request for you to go there.
We dont really have much malls but if you are a tourist looking for great souvenires, you should go to Lahaina Canary Mall which is air conditioning…There is also Queen Kaahumanu mall which is located in Wailuku and there has the normal shops that you can find anywhere. or there is maui mall located in kahului and isnt to great.
For Water Activities there is a Maui Ocean Center and there is snorkling to places. Molokini is the best because of the beautiful coral reefs and the colorful fish.
The best place to stay within budget is the Wailea Marriott and I gotta tell you there beds are to die for. If you have kids it would be great because there is a area for them and there is a serenity pool which adults 18 and over can go to with the perfect ocean view and you might even see whales! If you do not have a budget, the grand wailea or the four seasons are a really great hotel!
Hope you enjoy your trip to Maui!!!
Also I hope I helped!!!
oh p.s. if you have alot of time you can drive to hana, its about a 3-4 hour drive but it is soooo beautiful with many plants and many tourist spots on the drive. Be aware though that its very twisty so if you get car sick easily you should go the kula way instead of the haiku way. There you can sight see or go to the beaches but there are many big waves. Also you can go to a place called venus and that is where there are big cliffs you can jump off on. Or the freshwater pond that is freezing but very fun. Also you can get good shave ice there. But my favorite shave ice is the one in paia…I strongly request that!!!

Maui is unbelievable. The highlight of the trip was the Road to Hana. Plan a full day around this trip and take your time sight seeing. We rented a jeep while we were in Maui and I would definitely recommend that or at least a convertible of some sort. The Road to hana is filled with beauty such as black sand beach and the 7 sacred pools, not to mention several waterfalls and lush scenery. Another thing to do in Maui is watch the Sunrise on Haleakala. This was an amazing experience. You will have to get up early (3am) but to see the sun rise from below you is something you will remember the rest of your life. After you witness this, take the bike ride down the mountain, stop for breakfast and enjoy some more of Maui's beautiful land. One thing we didnt do but wish we had is take a helicopter ride. Next time we go (and there will be a next time), that is tops on our list. Have fun and relax!
