Triton Bay – Kaimana, For Nautical tourism lovers

Kaimana, West Papua – Indonesia has beauty of it’s sea that save million of enchantment and will not be bored to saw. So, if you want to enjoy the panoramic beach and sea, let’s visit Kaimana. One of it tourist destination is Triton Bay. From Kaimana to go to Triton is very easy, takes only 1.5 hours. For the lover nautical tourism, this trip certainly is fun. After passing through on Tanjung Bicari, You’ll finally arrived in the Erana that now currently known by the name of Namatota, because there is Namatota Island.
In this island we could begin to started our tour with a variety of stunning panorama of it’s island. Looks mountain shaped whale. Uniquely, the mountain stalaktit there are paintings that reflect the sun, the hand of man, and also the human skull. According people here, this place is considered sacred and they do not know when the painting is made. So this island save a lot of mystery.
Not only that, each at 08.00-12.00, when good weather and sea conditions in the flat or calm, there is a group of whales and dolphins enjoy search for food and they are very active play with the group. This place also called as ‘the restaurant’ of whales and dolphins, this place is a fishing bank because There are many types of fish.
For fans diving and snorkeling, this place is interesting tourist area. Coral-reefs in Triton Bay is famous for soft coral. Based on survey results, CI Kaimana, found 868 types of reef fish, including new types of 10-14 (10-13 endemic). Because of there are many biota of marine fish species, makes this place also very suitable for fishing arena. Triton Bay is not only interesting as maritime tourism, cultural tourism, but also blend local culture and the outside.
Travel more diverting if continue to Umbrom Island, that has white sand. So if you want to swim, drop in any time on Umbrom island. There are also bats Island, where every day thousands of bats out of the nest, then fly up to the Kaimana. If you’ll enjoy all of it, why not go to Kaimana located on west Papua island in Indonesia archipelago near with Papua New Guinea and Australia.
