Wedding Party Cruise

If you’ve already discussed the venue of your upcoming wedding with your fiancé, then there’s nothing left to say. But if you could still change things, why not consider having a wedding on a cruise ship-you know, a Wedding Party Cruise. Not only will your fiancé love having a Wedding Party Cruise, but for both of you, it will be the most romantic day of your lives.

If you arrange it well in advance, you can have everything done professionally. Usually, the ship’s captain conducts the wedding ceremony with complete legal authority. Alternatively, you can bring your own priest.

After the ceremony, you can have a very private reception, of the size you want. Choose from the many banquet halls, suites and party lounges to host your reception. Or you can host in an open environment with beautiful views of the sea.

For you, the wedding couple, a Wedding Party Cruise is not only romantic but also very economical. Plus, it has other advantages. And with the many discount packages available for newlyweds, you could be in for a big saving!

The ship’s crew does everything it can to make yours a very special day. For instance, you can have an upgrade on your suite for free, a bucket of free champagne and flowers in the cabin, apart from an offering of chocolates. Besides, you could also be invited to dine with the captain, if you like. It’s pampering time for you both, and well the captain and his crew know this.

Before your cruise can begin, look into the finer details of your Wedding Party Harbour , if only to avoid any future hassles. If there is a special brand of champagne or a certain wine you prefer, then inform them in advance, so that they can make sure it is on board. You can also make a date with the beauty salon on board the ship, order your wedding cake, flowers and wedding dinner, right here.

Benefits of a Wedding Party Cruise: Really, you should consider having a Wedding Party Cruise as both you and your guests will have a really good time, apart from which a wedding on a cruise liner is hassle-free. Since all your guests will be aboard with you, you needn’t worry if someone is going to miss it just because he’s caught in a traffic snarl. Of course, this means you won’t get to reach the venue in a limo, but you could reach the cruise ship in one, if you’re particular about it.

And, planning your wedding won’t be as stressful as other brides find it. This is because you will find all the wedding services you require under one roof. If you want a caterer, florist, photographer or anyone else, don’t worry-he’s already trained and ready on board your Wedding Party Cruise liner. This will save a lot of time and bother for you both and you can enjoy your wedding, not worry if everything’s going fine.

A medium sized photo album with something mentioned on the front like the day of your wedding and carribbean cruise. Or a really nice frame 5×7 or larger that has the same information engraved in it. I'm sure a ton of pictures will be taken by everyone so having a nice place to store them or display one would be very practical and not cost a ton. You could find some great deals online for both. Search under personalized, engraved or custom.

We were going to do that. Take a cruise in Hawaii and get married while we were there, have a reception when we came back. Then we decided we didn't want to cut out our kids, so we ended up having a wedding and reception here and then going on the cruise. I would have felt guilt cutting our families out of being there for our wedding.

Well, I wouldn't really call the Circle Line a cruise ship. It's small and doesn't have overnight facilities, so it's more of a sight-seeing tour boat.

Unfortunately, real cruise ships are at least an overnight commitment. And out of New York I couldn't find anything shorter than 4 nights, which would definitely blow your budget if you're paying for other people.

Parties in NYC are darned expensive, mainly because of the facility.

So here's my suggestion: If you or any of your friends have an apartment that would be suitable, I'd have the party there and spend your money on awesome food, drinks, decoration and entertainment. For $5k you should be able to do something fabulous.

If you are going to invite people to your wedding, you need to do something afterwards. It doesn't need to be big or fancy; you just need to spend a bit of time with your guests and offer them some refreshment. It can be Costco cake and homemade punch in the church hall, a picnic in the park…anything. It's not even a question of feeding them (though it would be rather rude not to offer any refreshment at all) but of letting your guests feel they are a part of the day and that their presence is meaningful to you.

If you ask them to get dressed up, come to the church, and bring you gifts (and even if you say you don't want any, most people feel terribly awkward about not giving one), then you must at least allow them the chance to congratulate you and wish you well.

So it's up to you whether you provide cake and punch for seventy, a restaurant dinner for five, or an informal picnic for twenty-seven. Just give whoever you do invite a chance to share the moment with you.

I just wanted to pass along some info about a recent destination wedding for a family that was on a recent cruise with us…

The young couple plus about 15 family and friends were on a Carnival cruise in Dec and were scheduled to be married in Cozumel on the port day.

The ship was delayed in departing and the cruise line changed the port of call to Progresso.

The young couple were devastated and of course, lost all of the monies they paid to the wedding location.

Push your cruise planner to detail a contigency plan if your port of call gets changed…you won't get your money back from the wedding location but at least get the cruise line to comp an on-board ceremony.

Ask the cruise planner for other comps for your large group…picture credits, VIP embarkation/de-barkation, soda cards, spa treatments, cabin upgrades instead of reduction in fares.

Also, be sure to plan for the costs and time for your guests to obtain passport or passport cards. They will be required for 2010 sailings.

    Good luck.

I am sure in Hollywood and New York they have this kind of job. But more then likely you will have to plan the whole wedding.

In business you have to create the demand, then supply the demand if you really want something. So, if this is your hearts desire then go for it. If this is something you just want to do for extra cash, I would not. It takes enough energy to get in the your area of work without trying to run a business as well.

Evening weddings are formal affairs. Lol, no surprise the dingy groom is not help! Go with the most dressy and elegant, not the more casual. Don't worry, you won't be overdressed, you will be appropriately dressed and knock em dead! Have a great time.
