Too bad I didn't have time to read it all. I really liked it. You describe your characters very well. And it's just.. simply great!

Being a Navy Vet myself I am a little biased on my opinion. I loved my time in, while it had its ups and downs I wouldn't trade it for the world. I had the same situation, graduated and wanted to get out of my dead end one horse town. It proved to be the best, I got to go to some pretty cool places, while I never left the states I got to go to Hawaii.

Deployments can be a little crazy but the ports you get to visit in the Navy are pretty cool especially if you buy the right stuff while you are there.

When I was joining the Air Force had a waiting list and so I decided I wanted to join the Navy and that is what I did. Wouldn't change that decision now for the world. However if you do have children the Navy is not for you but the Air Force might be a little more family friendly.

Good job on taking the steps to make a better future for yourself. And its very good that you recognized the abuse and decided to leave. Way to many women don't pay attention to things like that and stay and end up way too abused, or worse.

The military is a good route and it will give you a good career and such for the years to come.

EDIT: Despite what the British Vet says, while the Navy does spend alot of time on ship they do get to get off in different ports and experience different things. The Sailors may work hard, but they get to play as equally as hard. The Navy does get to get off their boats and can even use the computers and emails on the boats now as well. They can also take their own personal computers into port and use the internet connections there as well to chat with their families and such back home. I should know my husbands deployed right now.

Hello

What was the question??

Queen of Swords ~ This card shows a person who has emotionally suffered, this person is strong willed, direct. This person is emotionally independant - so may be alone.

Your World - Your Focus. What surrounds you currently, how others view you, where you are both mentally and spiritually.

Queen of Pentacles ~ This card shows a down to earth attitute, good health & family. This person is a mother earth type figure. Reliable, loving & calm.

Your Lovers World - Their Focus. What surrounds your Lover currently, how others view them, where they are both mentally and spiritually.

Eight of Wands ~ This brings rush, being busy, a positive card of information & activity. When it comes to love it tell to take action yourself.

Nature of your Issues together. Either past influences or current what surrounds you both.

The Chariot ~ This card tells of a rough journey or time - but of a safe arrival. Issues should be kept in control.

Obstacles to overcome. Areas that need to be illuminated, places that need to be worked through.

Ace of Swords ~ This is a card of truth, linked to the Q of Swords. A harsh reality is seen, changing opinions.

Three of Wands ~ This is a decision card, time has come to allow what is needed within a situation to unfold.

Your Hopes, Fears, Desires. What is it that your soul really wants and needs.

The Sun ~ This is happiness, love & sincerity.

Your Lovers Hopes, Fears, Desires. What is it that your lovers soul really thirsts for?

King of Swords ~ This is a card of strong dominance, being in control.

What Challenges your Relationship
Areas that require awareness and attention.

The Tower ~ This is similar to the Ace of Swords - Truth. It represents the ego being shattered so that issues can no longer be ignored.

The Final Outcome, the outcome of it all, the future of your relationship.

Page of Cups ~ Predominantly this is a card of trust & intuition.

As a quick over view this shows a relationship where there is a power struggle, some one has to give, but to do that somone has to be controlled. There is positive energy here, but it must not be hidden behind as honesty needs to be the focus.

Sorry you feel this way about the army. I spent 9 years in the army and I can tell you, the army is not the cause of your husbands abusive ways. He would have been this way regardless of which branch of service he was in. Why don't you choose the army and find out for yourself that the army is great and you will feel much better when you can say, wow this is wonderful and all this time I was blaming the army. When you graduate from OCS, let me know. By the way, you say you want to travel. I travelled to Europe 3 times while I was in the army. Crossed the atlantic 4 times on ship and twice by air. I know of people who have been in the air force and navy who have nevet set foot on a ship or plane and never left this country. Lots of Luck.

you dont honastly expect people to read all that? but my answer to the first question is that terrorism is no more a problem today than it was in the clinton or first bush presidencys.

that fact is that bush screwed up and let the US get attacked and now he is just trying to scare us to stay in power and justify more wars.

clinton stoped about 8 large scale terror attacks in his administration bush only one out of 2.

please dont belive the fear mongoring, it just leads to hate and facism.
